The Bolsey Explorer Camera was manufactured by the Bolsey Corporation of America in circa 1955. The Bolsey Explorer was a 35mm camera featuring a built-in viewfinder, synchronized flash, rapid wind lever and automatic film counter. this camera was similar to the Braun Gloriette. It was constructed with a metal body covered in yellow imitation leather with the exposed metal parts finished in satin. The camera was fitted with a Steinheil Cassar f2.8 45mm lens and a Vero synchronized shutter, which provided speeds from 1/25 to 1/200 of a second.
