  Tiny Tella Reflex Camera

The "Tiny Tella" Reflex Camera was manufactured by the Tella Camera Co. of London in circa 1910. Designed as a compact reflex camera capable of capturing 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch exposures. The camera only measured 4 1/2 x 5 3/4 x 5 inches. The compact design was achieved by allowing the Tella designed focal plane shutter to extended towards the front and lower part of the camera, with the winding key near the front of the instrument. The focal plane shutter capable of providing speeds from 1/5 to 1/1000 of a second. The camera also featured rack-and-pinion rise of front, reversing back, self erecting hood which is detachable as shown in the illustration, and a long extension bellows. If fitted with a Ross Homocentric lens the original price was set at £14 14s.
