  Aires 35-III Camera

The Aires 35-III camera was manufactured by the Aires Camera Industries Company of Tokyo, Japan in circa 1955. It was a well made 35mm camera featuring a coupled rangefinder. It was constructed of metal with leather covering. This camera was fitted with an Aires f1.9 - 45mm amber-coated Coral anastigmat lens mounted in a Seikosha-MFX shutter capable of providing speeds from 1 to 1/500 of a second, including bulb. It featured a rapid wind lever which simultaneously advanced film, a built-in double exposure prevention device, automatic zero resetting exposure counter, Single eyepiece range view-finder, Auto focusing from infinity to 20 inches, and a large view finder window. Originally priced at approximately $99.50.
