A Folding Plate Camera was manufactured by C.F. Foth in circa 1930. It was constructed of a wood body and metal bed, covered with black leather. The bellows was made of leather. The crocodile pattern deluxe camera is listed here. It was capable of accepting 6.5 x 9 cm glass plates in a sheath or film pack. The camera was typically fitted with a Foth Doppel Anastigmat f4.5/ 105 mm lens and a Foth shutter providing speeds of 1/25th to 1/100th of a second. A optional shutter was available that provided speeds up to 1/300th of a second and is easily identified with the word "DERBY" on the front. It featured a wire frame finder, a brilliant view finder and a ground glass back with a folding hood for focusing.
