  Spartacord Camera by Herold Mfg. Co.


The Spartacord camera was manufactured by Herold Mfg. Co. of Chicago in circa 1957. It was a twin lens reflex camera capable of taking 6 x 6 cm exposures on no. 620 roll film. The camera was constructed of metal with the exposed metal parts chromium plated and the body covered in a brown leather-grain covering. It was fitted with a hard-coated F7.7 color-corrected Achromat lens. Other features included Double exposure control, automatic Flash Synchronization and push button shutter release. the camera retailed in 1957 for $27.95.
