The Spartus 35 camera was manufactured by Herold Mfg. Co. of Chicago in circa 1950. It was a 35mm SLR camera capable of taking twenty or thirty-six shots. The camera was constructed of metal with the exposed metal parts having a satin chromium finish and the body covered in a mahogany colored covering. It was fitted with a f6.3 Archromat color-corrected lens with four lens settings for bright, hazy, cloudy and dull. Flash synchronization accepting M2 bulbs. The camera with flash gun retailed for $18.95.
