The Iloca Rapid A1 camera was manufactured by Iloca in circa 1958. The camera was constructed of all metal with black leather covering and satin chromed trim. It was fitted with a Steinheil München Cassar f2.8 / 45 mm, Color corrected and hard coated lens. The shutter was a Prontor SVS providing eight speeds from 1 to 1/300th of a second, plus bulb and a built-in self-timer or a Vero providing five speeds from 1 to 1/200th of a second, plus bulb. The camera also featured a diaphragm setting ring with audible click stops, automatic frame counter, shutter release on the body to prevent lens shake, synchronized flash, an optical eye-level view finder, double exposure prevention and the rapid wind lever automatically advances film and sets the shutter.
