The Telescopic Revolving Back Auto Graflex camera was manufactured by the Eastman Kodak company from approximately 1912 to 1923. This camera took exposures 4 x 5 inches on using a film pack adapter, or a Graflex magazine plate holder, or a cartridge roll holder.
The main feature was the revolving or turn-table back for taking horizontal or vertical pictures without having to turn the camera with the focusing hood on its side. The focusing hood automatically comes into position when the release catch is pressed and the lens cover automatically opens when the when the front is racked out.
Like other Graflex cameras, this camera is supplied with the Graflex focal plane shutter capable of speeds from 1/10 to 1/1000 of a second, including time. Numerous lens can be employed. The Basic model was provided with a Zeiss Kodak anastigmat f6.3. This camera measures 9 1/2 x 6 3/8 x 8 inches when closed and weighs 8 Lbs. The camera and Zeiss-Kodak lens was priced at $154.50 in 1912.
