The Reversible Back Graphic Camera was originally manufactured by the Folmer & Schwing Manufacturing Company beginning in 1901 and production continued until approximately 1906. Designed to possess all the advantages of a modern long bellows view camera with the compactness and portability of the ordinary hand camera. Constructed with select stock wood, joint-locked, with ebony finish, black morocco leather covering, red Russian leather bellows.
The features of the Reversible Back Graphic camera included an extra long bellows, reversible back, side swing, rising and falling font, removable lens board, double swing back, rack and pinion adjustment, brilliant view finder, spirit level and plumb, bellows supports, tripod plate, spring actuated ground glass and fitted with three options for lens, including a Baush & Lomb Zeiss Convertible Series VIIa with Diaphragm shutter, A Goerz Series III lens and diaphragm shutter or a Plastigmat lens and Iris diaphragm shutter. This camera was available in four sizes, 4 x 5, 5 x 7, 6 1/2 x 8 1/2 and an 8 x 10 inch. Prices ranged from $110.00 to $243.00.
