The Graphic Senior Camera was originally introduced by the Folmer and Schwing Manufacturing Company in 1901. Production ended in 1905. Designed to compete with other hand cameras of the era. Constructed of kiln dried mahogany highly polished, covered in black grained leather, red Russian leather bellows, and brass hardware highly polished, frosted and lacquered.
Features included a double swing back, rising and falling front, with side shifts, rack and pinion focusing, piano hinge for stability, focusing scale, spring actuated and removable ground glass focusing screen, rear compartment will carry three double plate holders, magazine plate holder or cartridge roll holder, and two tripod sockets. three
The Graphic Senior Camera was sold with three lens options including a Goerz Series III lens with sector shutter, a Plastigmat with diaphragm shutter, or a Baush & Lomb Zeiss convertible series VIIa with a diaphragm shutter. The camera was available in two sizes, 4 x 5, and a 5 x 7 inch. Prices were $35 and $45 respectively.
