The Official Camera Boy Scouts of America 127 Camera was manufactured by the Herbert George Company of Chicago Illinois in circa late 1950s. This snap shot camera was constructed of plastic with the official boy scout logo located on the front of the camera. It was a design variation of the Mark 27 camera lacking the integrated flash unit, but the same camera as the Imperial Satellite 127. It featured a built-in eye-level view finder, a fixed focus lens, a simple instantaneous shutter, two aperature settings to accomodate color or black and white film, and a detachable synchronized flash. It was capable of capturing exposures on number 127 roll film.
