The Focal Plane Post Card Reflex Camera was manufactured by the Reflex Camera Company in circa 1912. A compact vertical folding camera featuring a fast 1/2 inch slotted focal plane shutter providing of exposures speeds from 1/5 to 1/1000 of a second. It was fitted with a rapid symmetrical f6.3 lens with a focal length of 6.5 inches. The camera measures 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches and weighs 38 ounces. Time exposures were possible while the shutter was fully open and a lens cap would provide regulate time. The Focal Plane Post Card Reflex Camera was priced at $30.00.
