The Al-Vista Model 5C was manufactured by the Multiscope & Film Co. of Burlington Wisconsin from approximately 1900 to 1903. This stereoscopic camera could also be adapted for 4 x 5 inch snap shot pictures on glass plates or with the aid of an attachment it could capture various panoramic lengths with the same camera including, 5 x 4, 5 x 6, 5 x 8, 5 x 10, and 5 x 12 inches. It was similar to the model 5B. The Al-Vista Model 5C featured a brilliant revolving view-finder, a film indicator showing when enough film is wound into position, a universal tripod socket, an extra rapid rectilinear lens and and achromatic lens, heavy nickel plated metal parts, and the case was covered in black morocco leather. The camera measures 11 x 7 1/4 x 6 inches. Originally priced at $40.00.
