The Roll Film Postcard Camera was manufactured by the Reflex Camera Company in circa 1910. This vertical folding camera was similar to the Focal-Plane Postcard camera except it did not have a focal plane. It was constructed of wood covered with black seal grained leather and the metal parts were nickel plated and oxidized. The camera featured a high grade Special Symmetrical f8 lens with a focal length of 6 1/2 inches. The automatic shutter provided adjustable speeds from 1/25 to 1/100th of a second, with time exposures of any duration. The camera was designed for roll film with a noiseless winding key and film spool holder. Features included a rising and falling front, focusing scale, brilliant reversible view finder, and two tripod sockets. The camera measured 9 1/4 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/8 inches and weighed 35 ounces. The Roll Film Postcard Camera was priced at $20.00. Upgraded lens were available for additional cost including a Rapid Symmetrical f6.3 with an Autex shutter for $30.00 or Anastigmat f6.3 lens and Optime shutter for $60.00.
